PAWTUCKET, R.I. – Adabelle Komros, 86, passed away Jan. 22. She was the wife of the late Leonard Komros. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Frederick and Mildred (Parker) Berick.
Adabelle graduated from the Beth Israel School of Nursing in 1953 and also attended some classes at Simmons College. She was a registered nurse and volunteer at The Miriam Hospital for many years.
She was a life member of Hadassah and a board member at Congregation Ohawe Shalom in Pawtucket. She enjoyed art, painting, music, sewing, and playing the violin. Adabelle will be remembered as very charitable and a good friend to all.
She is survived by her son Robert Komros; sister Sara Weiss (Norton); and several nieces and nephews.
