MIDDLETOWN, R.I. – Richard Frederick “Richie” Kotlen died Aug. 15 at home. Born in Providence, son of the late Robert A. Kotlen and the late Rita (Jaffe) Kotlen, he had lived in Middletown for 32 years. Dear stepson of Betty Kotlen (Basok), brother of Lisa Kotlen of Bristol, Lori Kotlen Stark and her husband, Drew, of Kibbutz Yahel, Israel, and David Basok and his wife, Corinne Myre, of Huntington Beach, California.
